I work in this prison and was there during this revolt! All was not so! We wished to make a search at night, but us have started to throw all that got it under a hand then we have caused special troops, and they have set fire to all in district... It was their fault... Losses were from both parties, besides that the huge damage has been caused to Prison Management of Israel! And how we should keep them? How to extinguish revolt? Force and only by force...

It seems that many of these Palestinians enjoy going to Ketziot and also use it as a means to educate and induct new members to PLO groups. Young adults come with a minor in rock throwing and leave with a major in idealogic martyrism.

I'm very proud of Israel for their successful and efficent quelling of what would otherwise have been more Palestinian infighting. The Palestinians can kill themselves all they want when they clash in the Gaza strip, but Israel will not let them kill eachother while in thier custody. Congragulations Israel.

So the government was able to quell a prison riot with only one death and 15 casualties. Sounds like an extremely successful operation. Better than most US prison riots. Also the prisoners must be well fed as they were willing to throw food at the guards.
