NYMR 2009 Spring Gala ~ HD

A selection of clips from our recent visit to the North Yorkshire Moors to enjoy the Railway's 2009 Spring Steam Gala. (8th 9th & 10th May). A thoroughly enjoyable weekend of Steam, absolutely stunning scenery, Black Sheep Bitter, Whitbey Haddock n' Chips and the warm hospitality of the Horseshoe Inn at Levisham. Fantastic! :o)

Indeed Peter, unfortunately I visited the line last weekend, but there was no signs of Tornado, I haven't seen her yet although she's due to visit my home patch in Wales on the 30th of this month...Bob

Many thanks Bob Im so glad you enjoyed it.... Yes, Tornados early guise has already passed into recent railway history. A contentious livery among some enthusiasts it has to be said! However I always thought the Idea of out-shopping her in ex-works grey was both ingenious and refreshing. Im very pleased that I had the opportunity to film and enjoy something which was clearly unique and which is unlikely to be repeated.. :o)
