Was just curious, what camera did you end up getting. You almost sold me on the XH A1 with this video, but the Sony Hvr-z5u won out in the end for its ability to sync with two other cams and its progressive scan. The only thing I wish it had was an interchangable lens, but the lens it has is not bad. All in all it's enough to get started on something creative. Improvements come so fast you can't keep up.

MUCH more better sound! Other diffrences i cant see on this internet-video. But i unterstand what you feel, when your are holdung this amzing beautiful thing!! I would give nearly anything i have to get this camera!

Nope. It shoots on MiniDV tape in compressed, interlaced mode at only 3.5mb/s a second. That's compared to most prosumer 1080p cameras that capture at least 25mb/s.
