@raff23 lol the GST only means those that buy lots (excludes food) pay lots, and that tax cheats get taxed! My income tax is less now my income tax BEFORE the GST. Also pensioners who do not buy lots don't pay tax. So it is good you are delusional. I can see the benefits of the Carbon tax, but if you want to compare labour liberal, look at who stopped the deregulation of banks and the effect that had on reducing Australias position during the GFC. (Hint: It was HOWARD! lol)

@froggybiz he got elected for 4 terms because of lies and deceit wake up and smell the coffee champ. The GST hurts consumers when they go and purchase items. He actually lied about not introducing it in the 1st place yet this has never been mentioned or people have forgotten this while they bag gillard for lying about the carbon tax. The truth is gillard is looking to the future, the people of australia worry about the now and the money in their pockets which they wont have because of the tax.

He went to an election on the back of the GST and STILL got elected and it is one of the best taxes to stop wankers from cheating the public by not paying tax. Without it the country would have been bent over and fucked and his policy advisor's told him that, so if you think you had a better solution shut up and run for Government. Lets see how you do.

Too bad this fucker John Howard walked away with a multi-million dollar pension. That makes me really mad! Hmm... Why should that be a reward for almost destroying the public education system, decimating worker's rights, giving tax breaks to the wealthy, and then pulling apart a functional healthcare system!? Rudd was no better.
