The Gold Line Corridor commuter rail line scheduled to open to the public in 2016 will link RTDs rail system from downtown Denver to the western suburbs. The project will be an 11.2-mile electric commuter rail line from Denver Union Station to Ward Road in Wheat Ridge, serving Denver, Arvada and Adams County.   • i wouldnt consider the gold line a commuter line. i live in Philadelphia and our one subway alone is almost 6 times as many people. the system uses 2 million daily in the 5 country area. what you are building is a Rapid Transit line similar to RTA in cleveland or the Lynx in Charlotte
