British Army steps in as London 2012 defense plan falls short

With just 16 days before the Olympic Games kick off in London, there's been a major hitch in the much-hyped security plans. Thousands of extra British soliders have had to be drafted in after a private firm failed to supply promised guards. The company's been paid almost 300 million pounds - but hasn't trained enough staff. RT's Sara Firth has more.

I am talking from experience here my father was a Lt. Colonel of the GGuards. Let me tell you a little history lesson, Fuck winter warfare! Who cares about snow and ice? we are one of the 8 nuclear powers who could destroy a country by the press of a button. Please do not forget our troops train other countries in warfare INCLUDING the USA. I say they are the best becouse of the sheer determination, Skills and discipline. I suggest you learn about the army before you slate them.

How do you know that they are the best trained in the world? I'm curious. Just as a example: Are they better then Norwegians, Russians, Finns and Sweds in winter warfare? Best trained for what? Olympic games.. i don't get it.
