What can I say....my line came from the vikings, great people, and this song makes me think of the days when the Viking Warriors stood tall and strong!

  • I do understand the song is of a Viking battle but you my friend seem to know more than I do of it! I tried to hint at the build of a great battle without showing it! I thank you for the comment and hope that you enjoyed my video!

  • Painting an epic picture... Ian Anderson is the Master.

  • Yea, I'll like it cause it's Jethro Tull!

  • Thanks my friend, I

  • In the blood we would so willingly shed for our own babies, we will trace our line back a thousand years, through crown and country, to those very Vikings who took our mothers and gave us their blood...and in that blood we remember why battles were waged!! The heart of the artist pounds with this same passion, finding expression for long forgotten battles, reminding us of the strength that pulses through our own veins...reminding us who we are!!!!! Beautifully crafted, it stirs the blood!

  • Now Spanky, u do notice that this song involves being prepared to mount a defense against Vikings, yes.? In fact, as you may also know, where the composer of this song lived at the time of this songs composition, the Isle of Skye, Scotland, there are the remains of a stone tower, Dun Ringill, where one would keep watch for the Vikings, who were known to come and take your wife, and behead you. Also notable is the composer, Anderson, is of Viking descent, Andersons in Scotland.
