Early this morning a fire broke out on Main Street in Ketchum Idaho. Unfortunately destroying some historic landmarks. Check it out!

We are not going to let people like you bring us down. These were historic buildings and provided many people with tons of happy memories. Gotta tell you Beav, you're a bit of a drama whore. I've liked some of your photos, a lot! Your videos and editing styles however, are overrated and a bit generic. Looks like an iMovie creation.

Pretty sad that such a small event has such a major impact on the area. Just goes to show that nothing significant ever happens in Sun Valley, and the smallest events cause so much sewing-circle jibber jabber. Who fucked who, who robbed who, what tiny fire broke out, etc. Getting sick of this shithole.

Mark...this is a wonderfully haunting video. For those of us who live in and love Sun Valley, these shots elicit such emotion on so many different levels. Beautifully put together...a testament to our community, our local heroes and the ties that bind us all together...in good times and bad. Well done my friend, well done. Educator. School teachers/staff make very little money. It's what he loves to do though. And smokeys wanted to add a second story, but it would compromise the structural intergity of the building. Now they have a chance to start over.

Bottom line it's clear that you had a good time editing this and what-not but this is a bit melodramatic and over the top.

Sun Valley is definitely chock full of superficial people, but where isn't? It's just more noticeable as there's a higher concentration in SV.

Also, lets be honest about how good we have it here. There are RARELY any newsworthy events, so any small event leads to huge coverage and response. This is not how the real world works.

Although envymyignorance is not exactly full of win, I gonna back him up a bit. Setting video of that fire to that lame ass music is one of the cheesiest things I've ever seen on the internet.

Historic buildings? WTH? Give me a break, whiskey's was a dive bar and had been so for decades. It's really a miracle this had never happened before and damn lucky it didn't happen during business hours on a President's day weekend.

Haha, are you serious? assuming that I have loads of money? I live in a rented 1500 square foot apartment, soon to move to a 900 square foot cabin. I go to private school because my dad works there, and I get to go for free. It's sad because unlike most of the fat, lazy, americans out there who live to serve their favorite corporations, places like sun valley actually have small, family businesses people can be attached to. I never claimed we were in a big city, just that it was bettter than one

You prove my point, such a sheltered superficial world that most SV residents live in that a small fire once a year causes so much drama and heartache.

If you're really from a big city as you claim, you know damn well actual incidents don't get the luxury/attention of having ALL emergency response teams on site at once.

Guess you have to be from SOMEWHERE to understand my logic. Murder, rape, FIRE etc are DAILY occurances in real cities. These are tragic events that actually affect life.

Ketchum is NOT a real city, it's as fake as they come. Superficial as F&%K. And a SMALL fire that caused minute damage and harmed NO ONE got the same attention that a multiple homicide of city officials would receive in a REAL city.

Now what's really tragic? The fire, or that you're crying over it?

Fricking think about how a fire in an awesome resturaunt might suck for some. I can tell you from personal experience that a hell of a lot more exciting stuff happens here than anywhere else i've lived (boston, LA, ventura, washington, etc.). Get a life.
