  • geez -- you have a voice! Really lovely tone -- lots of power. I agree about the pitch on the repeated notes, and on the first "reflectin" -- the second syllable is under pitch as it is the one that goes up. This aria is perfect for you -- let go a little more at the first climax! Not sure why sopranos get scared to just go for it.. You definitely have the talent to have a career. Please post new videos so we can keep up with you!

  • You have amazing natural talent! This aria is difficult in so many aspects. I would love to know where you studied. Beautiful timbre.

  • 4:32 and on was stunning! crescendo and decrescendo - sopranos money maker! Post more por favor!

  • You are just beautiful! Exquisite! So much spirit and gentleness.

  • I think that the words like "my" and "I" and any diphthong of ai should be minimalized so that you uphold floyd's true intention of representing a southern diction. You can still be precise because if it's consistent, we know that [ma' sElf] means myself. Susannah is a poor country girl, and as an opera singer, she has perfect diction: by using no dipthongs on [ai] (I wish i could IPA on a keyboard, but you get it].

This minimal piano music is hard for a lyric to match up with, kudos to that!!!!

  • BRAVA!!! Keep studying!

  • great job~!!!Susan

  • Big voice! Nice tone as well. I love this piece. The hall you are singing in is very live. I think because of that, your repeated pitches get a little off at times and don't quite stay centered. Common issue with halls that have too much life to them. They are almost harder to sing in because you have a hard time hearing the piainist. Makes the diction a little harder to understand as well. However, nice performance. Keep up the great work.
