Here are a few pics of Camp Stanley, where I was stationed for 2 months in 1986, in South Korea. Also included are some pics of the DMZ when I visited it, and a few more non-1986 pics of the Camp.
I have great memories of both Essayon and Stanley. But the best memories I have are, having a TA-50 lay out when the house boy was sick for three day. See soldiers paycheck disappear in one night at the ville. No overnight passes, twice a month is a KATUSA holiday,
Seeing soldiers during out process can't pay their bill, having to pay airfare for a korean national. (AREA 1). Being called Staff Sergeant, your number 10. And walking from the in-processing to the out-processing building.
