3D CGI, Visual EFX and Compositing for the opening sequence of "Exorcist: The Beginning" is the 2004 prequel to the 1973 film "The Exorcist". Atomic Imaging was given just two weeks just prior to the release of the film to accomplish a completely CGI 3D creation of 1949 Cairo, Egypt. We had to model, render and composite over a live action plate of the crowded marketplace provided by the producers.
