Password Protect!

Thanks for watching my tutorial!

Anyways, since this video is hard to see and my voice is just SO LOW, I'll type down how to password protect folders.

First things first, you will need to download 7zip which is on that website if you guys need it for ease of use.

http://www.7-zip.org/

Once you're done downloading it; of course, you will need to extract it.

After you're done extracting 7zip, create a new folder or right click the folder you'd like to add a password to and add it to 7z's archive.

Once you've added it in to the archive, a window will pop up asking you to put down some information. This is the easy part.

Simply, change the 7z in to a Zip file extension.

AND do not forget to change the other extension to ZipCrypto/ or something along those lines. Sorry, I don't remember the right name. Haha.

Anyways, when you're done. All you have to do is check!

By the way, remember to change the name of the folders to something else!

Anyways, if you have any questions about this video, feel free to ask me!

  • @carias1521 Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. I made another video just like this one but better quality. I would appreciate it if everyone would read the description. :)

  • when i go o nthe website theres two choices to download im not sure what to choose heres the thing it says

    Link Type Windows Size

    Download .exe 32-bit x86 1 MB

    Download .msi 64-bit x64 1 MB

which is the safer and best one?

  • @AqwKillergod Well, it depends on which Operating System you have. You have either the 32 bit OS or the 64 bit OS and you choose whichever one depending on that. :) They're both safe, they're not viruses. I have a 32 bit so I downloaded the 32-bit.

  • @Touhoua When i download 32 bit it says its harmful...using acer laptop i got no idea about the operating system

  • @AqwKillergod Are you in the right website? Which Antivirus do you have? Or maybe the message you're reading is just a precaution.

  • thank you so much for your help. i been had 7zip on my computer but only used it for extracting lol. don't worry about the complainers, you helped them too, its just that they needed something to complain about.

  • @TheStaticshock84 Thanks for supporting man. :D I'm really glad that I can help.
