@solidcambio Man I grow up there when until I was 5, then my parents and I left because of how bad our neiborhood got.. I remember the good days, No drug problems, no Gangs, no nothing.. Everyone was happy. Many businesses thrived.. I go there now (18 now) and I can't believe whats happened to the place... It's sad to see once a nice place turned into a dump that it is today.. I agree.. Shame on PB, and it wont get better.. just worse.. Same bullshit different day. Pathetic..

Grew up in Pine Bluff when it was completely racially segregated. Finished high school there in 1964 at all black Townsend Park HS. Went on to a major out of state university where I graduated in the Top 10% of my class. Became financially independent by age 40. In PB in my day, there were no drugs to speak of. Young people got jobs and pursued an education. Town was safe. Virtually no murders or major crime at all. Today the city has become a prison without walls. Shame on PB.
