[Note: I recommend viewing the newer version which is in MUCH better definition. This is the original video that was made when YouTube had size requirements on the uploads.] Your moment of Zen to Teardrop by Massive Attack. These are fractured images from the Hubble Space Telescope. They are animated in iMovie on a Macbook. The reference to Portishead at the end of the film is an error. But once I posted it, I didn't want to pull the video so the error remains. Sorry.

  • @daniele080560 haha

  • uprising masterpiece

  • @oddworlddude You pay them by watching the ad, if you don't watch the ad, they don't get paid, and you are denying them payment.

  • @oddworlddude No it wouldn't. Youtube partners get paid from you watching advertisements, even if you don't buy said product, because you are being shown this product, and therefore you are more likely to buy it. It doesn't matter if you actually buy it, but they get paid per person who watches it. It is very similar to television ads, except Youtube ads are much shorter. The company pays for people to run their advertisement.

  • bliss.

  • @Lovik64

You contradict yourself: "why would you deny payment, when you don't even have to pay money for it?"

So should I pay 'em or not? Make up your mind!

Oh and you're saying they get paid just from me WATCHING the ad? "I'm talking about the youtube partners who get paid from people watching the adverts"

That's not how it works. I could watch an ad and just hate the product it's trying to sell and not click on it. That would stop my money from going to the advertiser in question.

  • @oddworlddude Not talking about people who make ads, I'm talking about the youtube partners who get paid from people watching the adverts on their videos! If you like a CoD commentator or whatever, because they put out good content, don't you think its worth 5 seconds of your time to let them be paid for their work? You like being paid for work, why would you deny payment for them, when you don't even have to pay money for it?

  • @richcan27893 I am talking about people who make content to put on youtube, not the ad creators, but people who actually do Youtube partners who make videos for a living. Do I get mad about youtube ads? Once in a blue moon when I get one that I can't skip. I still think it is worth 5-15 seconds for the person to get paid.
