Red Dwarf Theme Tune Guitar Lesson - Fully Explained

I have posted this lesson because it is a great theme tune to play on guitar. It will also prove very useful for working on accurate string bending as there are some huge bends in it. It takes a while to get them on point so don't feel like a total smeg head if it takes a while!

Is that a fender strat?

@ItsTurningGreen002 No. I put it together with bit from ebay. Most of the parts are fender though apart from the neck. I got that from axesrus.com. Plays nice though.

@SpeciesofNecessity It does hurt! Putting vibrato on bent notes take a fair bit of practice, couple of things to help;

Bend the note with your ring finger but use your second finger together with it and keep your thumb over the top of the neck.

String guage is important, I use Ernie Ball Hybrid which are standard but with lighter guage strings on the top 3 for easier bending.

Bend it up to the correct pitch then bring it down a quarter note and take it back up, keep doing that then speed up

I struggle to put vibrato on a bent string and have no tremolo bar, I'm using a telecaster, any tips?
