The Very Best of Pets! (Chickens of course!)

These are all my PET chickens! Tillie (the brown one), Redhenley (the red one), Maybelle, Millie, and Maich P (the yellow ones). They are the best pets anyone could EVER have! Most people, when they say they have "pet" chickens--- the chickens are scared half to death of their owners. So I wanted to make this video to show you what REAL pet chickens are like! ENJOY!

we currently have 3 dogs and a sucatta tortoise and we ( my husband,10 yr.old son, and I) are looking for a new addition and after watching your video i believe we no what that will be! Thank you

@NicholasPiano Thanks so much! I love my girls-- they're just so sweet! That's so cool that you have pet chickens too. They are just as good as any other kind of animal! I just spent a couple hours weeding in the backyard, and my chickens were all following me around, and keeping me company!

Yeah, some chickens never get tamed. We've had the Rhode Island Red (My favorite!) and Tillie for 5 years, and the other 3 for almost 2. Tillie has always been like that, and I have NO idea why! She is a sweetheart! I love your Henryetta! She looks a lot like my Redhenley. And I also love how you can tell all of your chickens apart like we can- a lot of chicken owners can't.

Great vid! Hens are the best kept secret pets. They are sociable like a cat or dog, control insects in the yard, they love human company. I wonder why they aren't more common.
