This is a follow up to my review of LAPG's Zombie Bag. I have been using the bag for a week now, and in that short time, I have found that it doesn't quite work for me. It lacks the size, quality, and organization I was looking for. A note on the quality....the main issue I have is the zippers. They get hung up, are very stiff, and often need two hands to manipulate them. Oh well, at least I am not out a ton of money, if it were a Maxped bag. On that note, I am going to try switching back into my Colossus again and give it another chance. My Colossus had been employed to hold my kids portable DVD players for car trips, so I will just flip flop the two bags. Incidentally, the Zombie bag works out well for holding the players and their accessories so I guess I may have found it's niche.

  • Arghhhh, I wish you showed us what it looks like on, none of the literature or media I can find on this bag shows it on a person. Its on closeout and I can't decide if I should buy it or not- the higher quality maxpedition bags are out of my price range.

  • @GoldenColts I would say don't buy it. It seemed good in theory, but the bag just doesn't work that well.

  • Sound like you need just a regular messenger bag.I wish Maxpedition's wasn't so damn big!

  • It's obviously meant for ammo, which is why it doesn't work.

  • shoulders bags are bad for any type of long trips on foot. take that full of stuff on a 3-4 mile hike you probably are going to regret not getting a backpack

  • good stuff!!! thanks for sharing! keep em coming............

  • in the one radio pouch you could put a water bottle or something cylindercal
