I think that they're being racist to blacks because they're saying they're dark so their good or something. and that is the same thing as saying blacks are different. people forget that racist isn't only about saying bad things about a race, but saying good things too. it's when they single a race out, like they're all the same.

Well it is very normal to see dark apricot next to lighter ones on a picture. you can see those kind of ads everywhere.

If it's about him simply being black then that's true. Pointing out that a black person is black isn't racist. Racism is about denigrating because of their ethneticity, not simply recognising it.
