Spot on ujaxman; if you don't love it, leave it! Thanks, James still is just awesome.

@alan4sure Unfortunately yours was one of many videos in a sequence I ran across and made me wonder, just because somebody had a good time somewhere, why must they post such obviously sub par material on youtube? It serves no purpose except to remind the poster that they had a good time.

@easguitar Wish I coulda been there! I'm a long time James Burton, Fender fanatic. My favourite guitar is my '62 Tele Custom. My husband loves Les Paul & has an SG. (Talk about opposites attracting!) I've a video of these two maestros playing together. Giving each other autographs? Yeah, they were old friends, I can see them doing that, for a laugh! Brilliant pickers, great guitars. Does the brand really matter when you're talking about legends?

@peterguit Everybody has their off days & James on a bad day is still better than anybody else on a good one. Because of James, I own & play a Telecaster ('62 Custom). I'm a 56 year old grandmother! If I could play a fraction as good as him, I'd be a happy woman. I live in Australia & I envy you who are able to meet, know & see the guys I can only idolise from afar. Thanks for putting this clip up. So, it's not perfect? Who cares? It's still James & Emmy.

Speaking of James Burton and Les Paul, I was told by the president of the James Burton Fan Club that someone who attended the Leo Fender tribute concert saw the two of them backstage giving each other autographs!! (yes, I know that Les Paul did not play a Fender!)

@alan4sure Yes he did ! made me realize that the intro I tried to figure out yesterday was right where I thought it was on the neck. Thanks !
did you absolutely have to post it? Crap.

See Rocketcooper's comments below..
The sound quality isn't great but yes, I absolutely DID have to post it. It sounded great when I was there (with unlimited front row and side stage access).
Did you absolutely have to comment in such a negative way and show what a crab-ass you are? Of course you did. It's your nature!

Not the razer sharp inventive solo's he used to play that made us feel like guitar idiots unfortunately...

@peterguit
If you are fortunate enough to live to be 70 years old and been playing the guitar since you were 14, perhaps your dexterity will still be perfect. Maybe you'll be more famous, revered by nearly every rock and roll hall of fame guitar player and also be known as a great humanitarian, just like my friend James Burton is.

He's one of the finest people I've ever met with or with out a guitar hanging around his neck.. Just because my lousy camera with the 1/4 inch wide microphone doesn't pick up the sound real well doesn't mean he is a washed up guitar bum as you seem to be implying. If he stopped playing guitar tomorrow he's still James Burton. I saw Les Paul before he passed and though he didn't have everything that he always had, he was still a great man who gave everything he had for a good long time.

Les Paul and James Burton were also good friends and had great respect for one another. That;s real credibility as far as I'm concerned...
