@MartyredxMaiden It's easier to make them sound better at techno because of the nature of most vocal use in techno is often supposed to be distorted, but that does not mean that Vocaloid cannot successfully cross over into other genres. It's certainly more difficult in other genre, since you would want them to sound more human, which can be done, it just takes alot of work. There are already many songs by vocaloids in other genres than techno that have done well, you just have to look for them.

@MartyredxMaiden It actually says what genres go best with each vocaloid somewhere. I've heard some in places, like how the Kagamines are best for rock and I'm pretty sure it says Luka is best with techno. Rin DOES goes really well with rock though. The Appends open up a whole new range of genres they can easily sing well too. c:

vocaloids should just stick to electronic music, because its their natural element, they dont sound as unrealistic when they sing along with programs; their equivalents. its time for a revolution in music. if vocaloids want to shine like humans, they need to play on their own field, and shine there first.
