Honey Bee Removal near Windermere, Florida (Orlando Bee Removal area). We had to cut through a barrel tile roof to find the bee colony and perform the removal. These turned out to be moderately defensive bees, and we are seeing an increase in the numbers of suspected Africanized Honey Bees ( Killer bees) in the Orlando-Windermere area this year. This is a rough cut video, with a final video being edited.

  • as long as they are not africanized you can remove the bees with minimal sting risk. even if they are africanized there are ways to deal with them that do not involve killing them. bees are too valuable to just kill off.

  • @debay777 debay, Where are you located? Because here in Florida, our feral populations of honey bees are exploding in numbers, largely b/c of Africanization. So, in my and other entomologist's opinion, eradicating those colonies that are in or near homes doesn't significantly reduce the local HB population densities. Throw in the added liabilities, costs and it really is difficult to make a case for reloc colonies such as this. But I do perform live removals, but i'm very selective--have 2 bee!

  • How do you figure out what to charge when removing from a House or anyother building?
