602nds had the opportunity to catch up with Drew Johnson from Shimano Australia at the Tour Down Under in Adelaide, South Australia to have a close look at the new Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifting system.

  • Where it is possible to buy such frame?

  • @nagema01 if it was wireless (unlikley for a few years, as smaller batteries will be needed) then the signal would be digitally encrypted - to stop chatter with other systems.

  • If it were wireless, would you want to be riding next to someone with another wireless system? The risk seems high

  • its to much if it were wireless? the cost of the cable to be installed is more expensive than a basic transmitter and receiver
