@nagema01 if it was wireless (unlikley for a few years, as smaller batteries will be needed) then the signal would be digitally encrypted - to stop chatter with other systems.

If it were wireless, would you want to be riding next to someone with another wireless system? The risk seems high

its to much if it were wireless? the cost of the cable to be installed is more expensive than a basic transmitter and receiver
