His chosen people didn't accept his very own Son Jesus who came to save them and PROTECT them from Satan's evil clutches. What do you expect God to do? They won't even accept protection when it's right in front of their eyes.

This loving god seems to have at least 2 sets of morality for his people. Maybe in a thousand years he will come up with yet another set of morals.
