Ludum Dare #23 Timelapse - Nanobot Rescue Team

Phew, this was my first Ludum Dare, and boy was it demanding! I am quite happy with the outcome (http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-..., DL link at the top area) since I have almost no experience in graphics, and I've got positive feedback especially for them :P

Working environment was:
- Python 2.7 + Pygame + other dependencies(numpy)
- Sublime 2 for code editing and cmd for running, compiled the executable with a pygame2exe script.
- GraphicsGale Free Edition for graphical content. Font is freesandbold, a GNU licensed free-to-use font.
- Bfxr for sound effects
- GreaseMonkey's Autotracker for the soundtrack.

I am looking forward to add all the stuff I didn't have time to add, fix the few bugs and balance the game in the following days.

As you can probably see from the timelapse, the majority of work was done in the last 12 hours, I wonder why that is... I now regret for capturing only 1 frame per minute, as I liked the 60fps with 6 frames per minute captured in my LD23 warmup video much more. The music is the game's main track looped.

(Note: Epic Sax Guy, Taking the Hobbits to Isengard and Skyrim theme, all 10 hour-versions, were listened to during the creation of this game)

Well done good sir! We had a similar concept for our game, but it mutated into a chaotic ceullar survival game.
