@iamshalomguy considering he had his first ppv match at mania viii and made his debut in 88 along with competing at one of a only a few main event matches against a Wiley veteran like Bret hart who was at the peak of his popularity michaels was indeed still considered somewhat a rookie to main event status which is what i originally meant other he would be at 8 year veteran and hart would be a 16 year veteran

that match made Hbk he hung with the best in the world Bret step buy step for 30 minutes straight while he was still a rookie it made the wwf realize this guy is the future
