Great video and narrative. Love the "checking under bed" scene, the juvenile ellies sparring, and the close up of the Cape buffalo grazing with the egret nearby. Your close up photo of the ellie looking at you, with the folds of the upper trunk accentuated by shadows, is brilliant.

Please tell me where Lewa is. I mostly visit Maasai Mara where I stay with the Maasai. Have you been in Nakuru and Hell's Gate? Thank you for beautiful videos.

@wuuggfi Lewa is north of the Mara. I have been to the Mara twice, but love to go to Lewa to see the Rhinos and Grevy Zebras. From Wilson airport in Nairobi it is a 45 minute flight up to Lewa's airstrip. Check out their web link in this video's description. Thanks.

Huh? You said the cape buffalo were one of Africa's "most feared" animals. Ok, they can do damage, but more feared than lions, leopards, raging elephants, and cobras?
Great video series! Thanks-

@CattyCatRanch @CattyCatRanch These buffalos are very feared. When you talk to guides, it is an animal they never want to see on walks. Usually bad attitudes, and an animal that seldom gives a warning or a mock charge like some of the ones you listed.

Those rhinos are beautiful!! And did you say that a group of them are called a "crash" ?? That is so cool! I can't wait for the day I can finally go on a safari!

Yes, a herd of white rhinos or any rhinos (you will most likely only see the whites grouping up) is called a crash. Kind of cool aint it.
