Sting composed this song and it doesn't surprise me, knowing his breadth as an accomplished musician, not just a rock and roll singer. Alison's voice is reminiscent of the myriad dialects in the Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Celtic, Gaelic genres even when she is singing a purely American blue grass song. We are after all a country of immigrants and the coal miners went to American coal fields.

That was most wonderful. I was very unsure what Sting could add, but his subtle input was outstanding.
