  • So that's what angels sound like...

  • That was most wonderful. I was very unsure what Sting could add, but his subtle input was outstanding.

  • @RedJohnO22 ain is scottish for own

  • outstanding

  • @raasray Yeah outstanding, I mean he only wrote the song.

  • @supergirlOn Its just a very southern american way of saying "my one true love" i think.

  • what does "ain true love " mean please ?

  • So beautiful... haunting... delicate. A pure gem. Love it.

  • @raasray sting is one of the best musicians of today i am pretty sure he could add a lot to a music.

  • I'm putting it out there: the film surpassed the book.

  • Sorry, Alison was composer on this song with Sting as it says above. I was focused on @raasray comment above. Sorry Alison.

  • Sting composed this song and it doesn't surprise me, knowing his breadth as an accomplished musician, not just a rock and roll singer. Alison's voice is reminiscent of the myriad dialects in the Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Celtic, Gaelic genres even when she is singing a purely American blue grass song. We are after all a country of immigrants and the coal miners went to American coal fields.

My favorite from both Alison and Sting. Thank you to both and sheerfolly2
