@jkobylka Rofl I love it when people act like their animal is different from the rest of the species. My snake is unlike anyother, my snake is smart and giggles and loves it when i rub his belly!

@eclecomte2 YOU know nothing about royals mate, they live in very small spaces in the wild like rabbit burrows, anyone that sais they need a viv or a large tank DONT KNOW SQUAT, the rack system is how everyone keeps them

mind = blown
I am in love with that snake. Man i wish i had the money to buy one of them.
That snake is beyond amazing.
I understand this is a business and these are not pets with someone to coo over everything little thing....but this just looks wrong. I mean, my ball python (full grown) has a 40 gallon tank, coco husk bedding, a water dish set in so the top is only an inch above the surface of the substrate, An elabortate rock hide away house, and a Tree branch, that goes the length of the tank then over the rock house. I LOVE my snake and the idea of him living like that....ugh i just dont like it.

@eclecomte2 - if you understood how they live in the wild, it would change your perspective. Like so many things, people like to project our needs and desires onto an animal. Naturally, Ball Pythons live much more similar to my set up than to yours.

@jkobylka This may be true. But my snake is very active, he seemingly loves to climb up on the highest part of the branch a chill there as that is where he spends most of the day, in the sunlight of my window. So while I argue yours may be more natural, I would argue that my baby does enjoy his days in the warm southwestern sunlight.

@eclecomte2 - I'm glad your snake seems to enjoy that! :) They don't bask in the wild... likely that's because of predators.

@jkobylka Now that you mention it, my snake does seem very...domesticated, he completely ignores the family dog when I have him on the couch, and I can stick my hand in the tank and he will come to me. I think he enjoys his artificial life.

@eclecomte2 - Sounds like he does! That's fine and normal for a pet snake for sure.
