Malachy (Rupert Grint) é um rapaz muito astucioso e talentoso, trabalha em um centro de esportes local, pois quer ganhar seu próprio dinheiro para que se divirta com seus amigos. Malachy vai muito bem na escola, mas quando encontra o amigo Luke (Robert Sheehan), ele acaba virando um rebelde, apesar dessa amizade ter um rivalidade. Malachy vem de uma família calma e acolhedora, já Luke é totalmente o contrário. E tudo se inicia quando eles conhecem Michelle (Kimberley Nixon) e se apaixonam por ela, e a rivalidade dos dois aumenta cada vez mais podendo causar consequencias graves.
