I got to know this unique bar/theatre/art-gallery last January, when I received the visit of my friends Esteban & Cristina and we joined a couple of friends of them that night.
The place is amazing and hard to describe. From their own web site:
"Shunt is a collective of 10 artists creating large-scale performance events in unexpected, abandoned or derelict buildings throughout London. Their current home is a sprawling labyrinth of railway arches under London bridge station: a bonded wine vault for the last 100 years - now an independent republic with diplomatic immunity and a vast private army."
The venue itself is impressive — they recycled the vast empty brick arches under London Bridge rail station and filled them with music, cool spaces, art and some bizarre stuff.
The night we went there was this wonderful happening — patrons were building the model of a city made of paper. I guess it had been running for quite a few days, and there was already a wide network of streets and avenues, with residential areas, hospitals, public buildings, etc.

If the camera had stayed inches from the floor, it could have yielded some amazing giant footage in Art City.
