Final Fantasy: The Mind's Journey (A Real-Life Homage to FF)

Update August 19th, 2008!!!
I'm finishing the movie in it's entirety! It will probably be done within a week of this update. I'm also re-editing the first part to be smoother... all around better since I've gotten much better with my effects and editing software. So please stay tuned!


This is a real life Final Fantasy I started to work on a couple of months ago. I saw a bunch of these real life Final Fantasy videos on youtube, and noticed there were none that held true to the older, 8 & 16-bit FF's. That and also everyone had quite a bit of creative liberties in their interpretations. Not to say that's bad, but..

So I decided to make one. This is a very rough draft of the first part of the movie. I had shot the whole thing, and about a third of the way editing, my program Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 stopped working on me. It constantly crashed and thus, I had no way of finishing the movie.

The whole movie was intended for YouTube, so I decided that I would upload this first part, to see if you guys would like to see the rest. Again, I reiterate, this is A VERY ROUGH DRAFT of the beginning of the movie. But I would love feedback to see if there's an interest in seeing a completed, fully edited version of this movie.

In conclusion, FEEDBACK IS WELCOME! The more positive feedback I get, the more likely I'll be to overcome my system issues and finish the movie asap. Anyway...

That wasn't half bad at all... lol... it was actually great compared to what I've seen online lately in terms of FF remakes and the what-not. I hope that the final product is of similiar, if not completely better, quality. Good luck!

well, pick a class with good physical strength.

for example, a mage needs mp to fight GOOD, wich is like ammo for a gun.

a good class with actual physical strength can actually FIGHT without the use of MP.

no need for MP, or "ammo".
