This about a 3800 watt RMS home theater. The sound is very realistic. You can feel the compressions when things blow up in movies. The "bass couch" has that car audio feel to it while the center chair has a smooth response. I plan on doing more sound treatment to the front wall. I have speaker wires running to the other room. I just phase out the subs and then move some speakers to have great sound in the other room, well with some rattling for now. Special thanks to "Cult of the Infinitely Baffled".

  • would u recommend those 18's for home use?

  • @SPEAKERSRULEMYWORLD Yes I would recommend these subs for IB use. 30mm of xmax in a 18" driver is tough to beat for the price of these. No replacement for displacement when it comes to IB installs.

  • I'm sure your neighbors loves when you watch some action movie with explosions etc.. xD

  • Turn on the light!

  • Nice setup. I've got a batcave also, but I use a projector rather than plasma. I'm glad to hear your insulation wall worked well, as I'm planning on something similar. The only thing I would change in your setup is not mounting the subwoofers using a manifold. The beauty of mechanical cancellation is just too sweet for me to ignore. That said, it looks like you have great bracing, which all successful line arrays have. I bet that base is mindbendingly great.

    Great job!

  • OK, my shoe laces cost more than your furniture and lighting..

  • @JJTatz well it's a home theater. That's how it should be.

  • Some nice gear, but your speakers cost more than all your furniture and lighting...and wall treatments.... and yeah.

  • Nice walk thru, now you need to post one of the (4) 18" in action!

  • Great system but more light if poss!!
