  • When I was a child my mom would rock me (and encourage me to sing along with her) and this song along with "My Happiness" and "A-You're Adorable" were my favorites.

    Thanks fo posting this.

  • When I first arrived in America from Scotland in 1960 I was 14. The family

I lived with played this and I memorized

it and sang or hummed it whereever I

went. It was so special from all of the music I grew up with in Scotland, and

    it still is very special.

  • This nostalgic melody makes me smile. It also convinces me that good songs never lose their beauty no matter how old they are. Mary Ford was as amazing as her partner Les Paul.

I truly miss them; their legend will keep glittering.

    Thanks for this clip.

  • Mary Ford was at her prime when she did this, what a woman, what a voice.

  • My father's mother used to sing this to my little sister, when we were very little. It's one of the few things I remember about her. She called my little sister her little "sweat pea" and sang that song to her.

  • Absolutely love this. Thank you for posting. I'm going to wear this out listening to it.

  • Great listening! Cheers all the way from Sri Lanka !!!

  • I had no Idea this was a Country Song

    Great Song

    Thank you

  • That is the America of today vs OUR America! Today people who like music like this are a minority. Now, it's all that jungle jive rap crap!

  • the best version by a hundred miles

  • Mary's sweet voice and Les Paul's splendid technique as a guitarist are a very good combination to mesmerize a great number of listeners. Thanks for posting this clip.
