@ShikShadow It's up to you I guess, you're only 20 so you can probably do your course first and still have plenty of time to become a Tattoo Artist if you find an apprenticeship, at least you'll have a backup as well.

@ShikShadow You should also know that my current major sucks in all possible ways. It is not going to get me anywhere good. In short:
Finish current and have an almost worthless diploma (1 year left)
Start over and learn japanese which is probably going to result in living there for 5 months as exchange student and more time to get better at drawing. (4 years left)
im 20 y/o

As for the TQ: I want te become a tattoo artist as well. I am still not sure when i am going to try and look for an apprenticeship, either after my current major (next year) or after the Japanese major i might start instead of my current major. This basically means i start a new 4 year major. I would love to go to working trips in Japan and i love the culture. But is it worth throwing away 3 years to start over just to learn japanese. It does buy me some time to become a better artist

@ShikShadow Thanks for watching! I'm really busy at the moment with other projects but hoping to do some more of this stuff whenever I get a chance. I actively check the channel and my Facebook so if you have any questions feel free to ask me on either!

Thanks for the awesome tips! Im only 16 but its my dream to become a tattoo artist an i have already made up my portfolio. Do you think that i should wait untill im older to go looking for an aprenticeship whick gives me more time to improve on my artistic abilities or should i start looking around now knowing that i have a loooong way to go before i am really worthy of an aprenticeship. Also i am in Parramatta in Sydney and i was wondering if you might possibly know any good safe clean shops

@Thatminordisturbance Unfortunately I can't help you in the way of shops, as I don't know any in Parramatta, but the best thing to do is ask them what their safety and hygiene procedures involve, use your own judgement and also if you feel the need send me a message with what they said and I can give you a bit of an idea if they are doing the right thing. I'd say wait until you're at least 18, most places won't take you until then anyway and it gives you time to improve.
