just found out he died, he was an old friend back in the late 80's. does anyone know the two people in 2:24 of this vid. i think the girl was jims girl friend at the time. only met her once . but what I need to know is the name of the guy next to her.he was a good friend. this is a fucked up question to ask but my memory is getting so bad, I'm ashamed to be asking , what I'd like to know is if he is still alive. I know this is a shot in the dark. I think his name was john.......andre

Sylvia was Lou Reed's wife at the tme. She was his manager also. She was the person responsible for cleaning Lou up, dusting him off and presenting him with a clean image for the 80's. They married on Valitines day 1980 but devorced around 1994. Sweet Jane was written by Lou back in 1969. Jim and Lou were great friends.

yes I know they where friends Jim use to talk about lou once in a while. jim once told me that lou said he had a painless detox progam that he went to .he told jim without the pain I'm doomed to repeat my mistakes. Jim myself and a three others had a post medication breakfast club. we would eat breakfast and wait for the warmth to creep up on us. I had three kids and finally decided to make a clean break to Florida. now with jims death I feel like i punked out on the crew .
