religion,cultures societies are not isolated things, everything influences everything else. Sufism is a philosophy found in Judaism, Islam, and many other religions, Pakistanis do follow the Persian style just because they are right beside each other and Islam spread from persia to south asia. But that does not mean you can say that it has nothing to do with Islam and Pakistan. It has everything to do with them.

You are speaking of Judaism ? It comes also from Aryan's religion Zoroastrianism.

Of course Southasia coutries,Afghanistan and Iran are sharing some culture.Our great poets like Bedil and some others were in southasia.And of course I shouldn't forget Ghalib and Iqal.I named only the muslim because I am muslim.Surely there are great Hindhu Poets too,which are not familiar to me.Can anyone name them ?

Anyways for me persian poetry is the best.Maybe it is because I am Persian.

if or when 'it' hits,v cant know what has hit.Knowin,comprehendin r just contrary to soul&if u ask what soul is,I dont know.Bro,by the way,there is no east/west.Easterns are more western now then westerners.Sick pple r going to hate us even if v accept their way of lifeThe problem arises when 'v''they''us'factors arise,the mind brings division in.He wasnt bringing any change nor can 100 NFAKs;our music was out there in British India&it never brought east /west together except slavery.Just Enjoy!

'voice from heaven?'Maybe it means'Woh great';Most young people,even in Pak,ghazals&qualis cause headache,unbearable like western opera/classsic&they prefer lulli-bulliwood musics;rather its earthly music but when one is in a right tune with ghazal(an outer sound)&it manages to reach inside&harmonizes inner sounds,one may touch unique moments of relaxation,that's the only effect of ghazal;Moment we want special heaven,we may miss a unique earth-heavenly relaxations;Nothing godly;why exaggerate!

Expressing godness,pains&other feelings;so hard to express with words;even gurus use words&meditations to define egos,samadhis,awareness&even enlightenments;for experiencers,ghazals convey when one is in right tune with outside&inside sounds;this technique is invented by humans in this part of the world,how?unimportant!but it exists;Nusrat was good,not in term of guru-like phenomenon,but as conveyer&tuner;sufferer or searcher needs concentration on'journey',to relax,have a'chai',look at his'map'
