I do believe he was singing "cause generally speaking no body gives a fuck" that was the anger of 1980's youth unemployment (the highest in this nations history) Malcolm Fraser created bullshit job schemes that took the numbers down.
In the end this fueled a post punk youth movement that really began to worry the stablishment.

Unbelievable! I remember this concert like yesterday! I've been trying for 15 years to find my old (Betamax) video from Channel 0's Rock Around The World of this gig, so thanks for posting this. Do you have the whole tape? It was an hour long I think, with a few tracks from INXS, Mi-Sex and The Machinations too. I remember Kevin Stanton from Mi-Sex playing "It Only Hurts ..." standing out in the pouring rain. Fantastic. And Pete 'smoking' his flare cigars! Please post more!
