In recent months, Home has transformed from a decent online service into a royal piece of steaming shit. Add things like this to the infamously ignored 1.3 flaws and odds are that Home will die out before the end of 2010 (I'm starting to think it deserves to die to be honest). Corruption and incompetence are out of control in so many different ways, but that's Sony for you this generation. Last place console, last place effort. Sony's disgraced their customers and they've disgraced themselves.

This beyond anything reasonable. I hate it when people abuse their powers just to humor themselves due to their "superiority" status. It doesn't make any logical sense. I saw people get banned in games like these just for discussing religious topics amongst themselves, and with the crowd that allows such conversations.

One of my favorite activities on PS3 Home is to create characters & role play.I I play ugly women, fat slob white guys,vampires,etc.

When I found that giant Afro in the Mall, I decided to play a '70's style Jive Brutha ( "Slap me five Brutha Jive",& so forth ) . I ended up suspended for "Racial presumptions" for two weeks. This is unacceptable & as a result I no longer buy online items.Screw you Sony!

Yep, just like they fixed all the glitches that couldn't even be used to disrupt games. But they're getting a little bit better now.

Okay, this is another thing I don't get. The vast majority of Home's woes are due to self-inflicted wounds, wounds which have turned off the regulars and kept them away. Their continuing to be the author of their own woes will eventually destroy them, something I have regretfully seen happen before in 2 fictional franchises I follow. The people in charge of them did stupid shit, fixed what wasn't broke, and totally went against the grain. They did it to themselves, just like Home is doing now.

One thing that amazes me about how poorly Sony's handled all of these problems is this. Home is their biggest and most popular online service. How can they do nothing when there are so many flaws and people have been going on even less and less? You certainly wouldn't see the people in charge of Call of Duty's online service do that for example. I used to go on Home daily M-TH, but now I usually only go on after updates and if a friend wants to meet me there. More in next post.
