Given the context of this play (playoffs...overtime...Sharks coming back to make history...one of the best shooters in the NHL with a slam-dunk opportunity), I would argue that this was the save of the decade. I quite simply have never seen a clutch save of that caliber and of that magnitude of importance. It certainly ranks, along with Kirk Mclean's 1994 save against Reichel, as one of the biggest robberies in recent playoff history.

god i remember this game. As a Star fan it still makes me sick. It was the save of the decade tho... Hate the sharks and Nabby when he played for them but when i saw this happen live i think I peed a lil

@ThatInternationalGuy What people always forget that Niemi was behind maybe the best defence in 2010, Keith, Hjalmarsson, Seabrook, Cambell, and even throw in Sopel... It was outstanding and even if you'd throw Toskala in he'd probably have those stats as well lol.
