I don't think there's any positive view of war. And Keane is clearly an anti-war band. It was well stated in Is it any wonder?, for instance.

@JulyForToday You show me the CD called Little Broken Words and I'll show you someone who burned a fan made album to a disc.

Em 2:39 passa uma foto do Tim que parece uma miragem ...

I really love, it's fabulous, why they don't do it in an album ? Tom's voice is unbelievable...

I love this song, I adore Tom´s voice and I worship the whole band. This must be the most underrated band in the world.

@xxemililyxx I'de gladly marry you...hehe jk.
Really? That's odd that Keane didn't want it distributed. Funny then that it ended up on Little Broken Words.
I don't think it represents war as being positive, but as a sort of satire on war and the happy soldier who is blindly patriotic and willing to fight in wars, to kill and be killed for a country's glory. It has quiet some room to interpret. And I don't see it out of character for Keane, really.
And there are a lot of non-album songs. Keane has enough B sides for at least 2 full albums.

We all know Keane is anti-war. So, I think this song is a kind of irony. Right?
