  • I'm getting married in The Little Brown Church this summer and hearing this recording overwhelmed me! Such a sweet little church, with a sweet little song....Thank you for posting this!

  • @biffybuff100 OMG good for you !!! You welcome I hope you have a wonderful wedding!

    ~Angie

  • Great song. Angie, I guess you are part of the carter family. Thanks for posting this great song.

  • @ngabetutube Nope I am not a family member to the Carter/Cash family just a fan of them. The Carters really helped make country music and JC was a strong person they were all very talented and held the power that is hard to find now in music. It's all going down hill. BUT Rosanne Cash is doing well. She is one of the real artist till out there. She is up for a Grammy I heard.

  • Is that Johnny himself singing bass?

  • @maruku86 yep and the girls

  • carlenecarter52 - Thanks so much for your time to respond. I don't sing myself but, i love country music since my childhood. Loves the title and The Carter Family are always my favourite. Thanks for the uploads.

  • The singers are June Carter Cash and Carlene Carter Helen Carter and Anita Carter the cassette is called \Wildwood Flower it's by the Carter Family and was recorded and sold tho the Johnny Cash store in TN. I got all 12 songs from it from a friend and posted most of them.

    Hope this helps ....Angie

  • This is a great song...I have searched all over the internet for this song and I haven't been able to find any references to this version. What album is it from, when was it recorded and what is the official artist name?

Thanks again for posting a fantastic song!
