United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon lunched today with French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the French Consulate in New York City.
A statement from the french consulate said that they were to focus on climate issues, reforming global governance, as well as reviewing regional crises and peacekeeping operations.
Sarkozy was set to attend a Saturday concert in honor of Mandelas 91st birthday at Radio City Music Hall where the French First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy sang at the event for the South African political leader.
