135 pound bail of hay i have lived and work on afarm all my life and have never seen a 135lb bail of hay unless its realy wet which yours was not judjing by the amount of dust comeing out of it try 65-75 lbs

@NoOne3234, i agree with you, sometimes you have to keep adjusting the string length until you get a good satisfying projectile

Of course, I'm more of a hanging counterweight/FAT person and typically don't run sims on fixed counterweight.

It's got size, but the fixed counterweight and sacrificial sling seem, for lack of a better word, lazy.
