Every time i try to make adjustments before the ball is snapped, it gets snapped. How do people do hot routes and change coverages when your opponent hikes the ball in like 3 seconds?

if ur on defense then u can play as 1 of the defensive ends and hav a miror on the QB with ur DE contain him so u go behind him while ur being blocked and right as u c him tuck the ball then quickly switch 2 ur mioring linebacker but make sure 2 make the open field tackle
