@Magnetohydrodynamics Changeling is about fear, Promethean is about hope. Promethean is far worse, in my opinion, as hope is harder to achieve than fear is to avoid.

I've got to say, Promethean is, in my opinion both the BEST game that White Wolf has created, and the worst to run. To me, the game is about one thousand thousand failures, and one success. Any time I run in it, everyone is so sad by the end it isn't voted to play again.

I still say that Changeling is bleaker and sadder. At least the Promethians have a way out, and they are the cause of their misery. Changelings have it much worse.

How do you figure? They each have a different tone and feel to them. Vampire is about survival, Mage is about discovery, and Promethean is about the desire to become human. Besides, the original NWOD, and later Hunter, are about ordinary people.

If alchemy made you a promethean, acomplishing the impossible, then alchemy could probably make you a human!
PS does anyone notice the simularities to KINDRED OF THE EAST here?

Promethean is by far the bast game in the World of darkness line. its deep, dark, powerful, evoquing, sad, self discovering and pure emotional.
