How fortunate we were to experience a Leatherback Sea Turtle laying eggs while in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
The emergency paramedic who built the makeshift tent and watered her down while she layed her eggs in the hot sun said that he had never seen a leatherback on this side of this beach, let alone one laying eggs. It took her about 35 minutes to get to the sea after she was finished covering the eggs up. A beautiful, spiritual event to share. Enjoy.
