I was the Sonia in the title. The melody was written by a sweet and gentle soul named Sonny Wilson who never got credit for the music. I was there was it was composed and did the original demo.

I am a 65 year old Hoodrat who lives in Pittsburgh. I played a lot of rhythm and blues and jazz as a young man (drums). I'm retired now but i always have time to listen to women piano players.

This young woman sounds wonderful to me in this video,
