Why did they put the white thing over the words? It makes it worse and we can still see them.

In the last scene when they're getting into the jeep to go the baseball field and Edward says "There's a thunderstorm coming, it's the only time we can play. You'll see why." I don't know why but i LOOOVVVEEE the way he says 'why' at the end of the sentence. I have no idea why i like the way he says that, it's really weird but i just do... does that make me crazy?? ... of course it does... :P
