GM's Lutz: 'I Achieved What I Set Out to Do'

General Motors Co. will keep making big trucks and SUVs because U.S. buyers demand them, but a major portion of them will be gas-electric hybrids in the near future. That's one of the predictions of GM's retiring Vice Chairman Bob Lutz. (March 12)

Just incase your too dense to realize this, I'm not actually comparing the 2 companies. I own a Honda ;) I am not agreeing with the Govt singling out Toyota using recalls as the reason when its obvious that they are getting much more attention than any other previous recalls from any company.

where did you get that number? Anyhoo, the floormat recall extends back to 2005 cars. How many cars has GM recalled since 2005?
