Superintendent's start-of-school speech: Part 1

School principals and a variety of district staff gathered at Vincent High School on Friday to hear the superintendent give his final beginning-of-the-school-year (for most schools, anyway) speech.

In his opening remarks, Superintendent William Andrekopoulos talked about those who think they know how the district should be run. He also spoke of the district's success in raising math test scores and in reducing the number of students suspensions.
